I led the creative execution for OUI the People’s debut at SEPHORiA, Sephora’s multi-day immersive event for the beauty-obsessed. As a Caribbean-owned, Brooklyn-based brand, it was only right that our concept was a hyperlocal love letter to culture and community: the quintessential New York City bodega.
“The Bodycare Bodega” reimagined the corner store through custom scratch-offs, soda cans, cereal boxes, posters, and newspapers—everything you’d find at your Puerto Rican or Dominican corner store (minus the cat and baconeggandcheesesaltpepperketchup). As a native New Yorker, bringing this activation to life was deeply personal.
The Bodycare Bodega earned the “Rookie Award” at SEPHORiA ’23 for best-in-class activation by a first-time brand.
